The 28-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a move away from Ashton Gate, with Middlesbrough reportedly interested.
Diedhiou has finished as City’s top scorer for the last two seasons and was on target again as the Robins beat Portsmouth 2-1 in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Asked if there's been interest from elsewhere, Holden replied: "Yeah, of course there is, he's a good player.
"We haven't had any bids from clubs but tentative enquiries. It's important for us to get that one over the line."
Benkovic seals completes another loan move

Hide AdBenkovic, 23, has since had loan spells with Bristol City and Cardiff but only made one appearance for the Bluebirds during the first half of this season.
After returning to Leicester, the defender has now signed for Belgian club OH Leuven on loan until the end of the 2020/21 season, subject to international clearance.
There was talk that Benkovic could rejoin former club Celtic yet Leicester have opted to send the player abroad instead.
Knockaert extends Forest loan deal
Elsewhere in the Championship, Nottingham Forest have extended Anthony Knockaert’s loan deal from Fulham until the end of the season.

Boro have also been trying to sign a Premier League winger on loan who can break into their first team, yet negotiations are proving tricky.
The Teesiders are set to travel to Forest in the Championship next Wednesday (7pm kick-off) following this weekend’s meeting with Birmingham at the Riverside.
